Other comments:Tesa was home built at Middlesborogh between 1937 and 1952. Arthur doubled her scantlings,ie grown frames with two steamed frames between, instead of four, as shown on the plans. The hull is as strong and tight as when she was built. With Tesa , I have explored Holland, the south coast of Ireland, and the west coast of Scotland, as well as the east and south coasts of England, in company with Owendo V17, and Patience V203, all single handed. As we all know, Vertues are very good sea boats and easy to sail!
